Update Tuesday July 18th 2006. Well a lot has changed since my last update. Tina and I decided to have a child and just last week at 12:04am on July 12th little baby Molly entered the world. She was born 6 weeks early and weighing only 4 lbs. Both mother and baby are doing great, I on the other hand have been running around like crazy trying to take care of the dog, the house, the store and still fit in a few hours a day to spend with the family. Molly is going to have to stay in the hospital for a few weeks, maybe as much as 4, mostly as a precaution. They do have her under the lights to prevent jaundice but they've already taken out her IV and she is eating really well. I have uploaded a few pictures of the baby to the site here are the links. Molly with Dad Molly with mom under the tanning lights working her soother she's so little. Well that's it for this update. Take care everyone.

Update Saturday Oct 15th 2005. As you've probably gathered I don't update this site much. I use it more for storeing pics then anything else. The thing is though most of the pics I have loaded here I don't actually have direct links to, so I've decided to add another page to the site loaded with pics Of me and my adventures. Since my last update I have made the jump to yet another bike. I'm now riding around on a Kawasaki Vulcan 2000. (2000 is the engine size not the year). This bike is great but so was my Meanie. The main reason I made the switch to the V2k was because my wife wanted to be able to go on longer rides and after trying 3 different seats on the MS we just couldn't find one that made us both happy. I also have a couple of new hangouts on the net, Kawasaki Motorcycles Forum hosted by Beartooth Kawasaki is my primary hangout now and it's a great place for any Kawi owner.

A lot has changed in the world since my last update too. Hurricane Katrina has washed away New Orleans, Fernando Alonso became the youngest Champion in Formula 1 history, Michael Park co-driver for Markko Martin tragically lost his life in the Wales Rally GB leaving behind a wife and 2 children. Speaking of which I'm still married and still don't want kids, I did however by a car this year, a first for me. Oh and what a car it is. A sweet little 1985 Fiero GT in "arrest me Red" fully loaded with only 86,000kms on it. Now I just have to get my car licence and I'll be all set for winter.

I've also done a ton of riding this year. Since I traded in the Mean Streak June 15th I've logged more then 13,000kms on the new Vulcan 2000. Two longtime friends of mine got there licences and new bikes this year. Steve bought a new 2005 V-max and Tylor picked up a 2005 SV650. Tylor never really rides with us though, he seems to have a problem with being seen with cruisers. Oh well, maybe he'll get over it for next year.

Now onto that new page loaded with pics of my scoots and other stuff you may need to give it time to load there are at least 15 pics on the page. Here is the link Pics of my stuff and places I've been.

Update Wednesday April 21st 2004. WOW it has been 6 days short of a year since my last update. A lot has happened over the past year. I turned 30. Murph has sold his bike and bought a "car". It's an 87' Mercury Tracer actually. I started a new job close to home and everything is great. The new job is fantastic, I have basically the complete run of the show. I can work as many or as little hours as I want. I can work whatever days I want to which will come in handy when I want to go to bike rallies this season. A little over a month ago I decided that as much as I liked my 02' Vulcan I really wanted a Mean Streak. After speaking with the local dealer and running over the numbers, they made me a deal that was too good to pass up and I'm now the proud owner of a 2003 Kawi Mean Streak. The new bike is fantastic and although I've only put a couple of tanks of gas through it so far I'm sure I made the right decision. I'll have some pics of the new scoot up on the site in the future.

Things are totally different in my other hobbie also. The P4 is long gone. I sold that last May and with the cash built 2 new comps. One for me and one for the wife. 1.3Ghz Intel Tualatin's with Radeons and 19" monitors. Then last November I quit smoking again, (this time hopefully for good), and with the extra cash I was saving every month decided it was time for a little computer upgrade. I went with the new AMD Applebred 1.6Ghz chip and an Abit NF7-s Rev 2 board. Since day one I have been running the thing overclocked to 2.3Ghz and it has been a real champ. I'm getting better performance now with this $60 chip then I did with my $250 P4. The new Radeon 9600 pro is a dream too. I was completely blown away by the card and it will certainly take something special from Nvidia to win back this customer.

Other then all that and surviving the Hurricane, (8 days with no power) and the blizzard, (1 very cold night with no power) of this past year, life has been pretty uneventful.

Update Sunday April 27th. Just a quick note to say i added some more pics of my bike to the site. Murph and I went for a blast yesterday and we took a few pics with his camera then ran into the one-hour photo in Mic Mac and got them developed. He scanned them last night and I added them today. They lost a little quality in order to make them internet friendly. Check the pics out here.

Update Friday April 25th. I had a request for some pics of my bike since I've done the pipe mod. My digital camera is the worst, I can't apologize enough for the horrible quality of the pictures. Once I get back to work, (very soon), the first thing I'm going to buy is a good digi cam. I did however take a couple of pics with the crappy camera for now these will have to do. You can check them out here. Modded Pipes

Update Wednesday April 23rd. I haven't had a chance to update for a couple of weeks since I've been out riding my scoot like crazy. It's so nice to have sunny weather again, even if it is a little cold. A friend, (Murph), and I went down to New Minas last week for a drive and the week before that we drove to Parrsboro and back. The roads are really bad right now but I can't underestimate how great it is to be out of the house. While we were in New Minas we met up with a friend that owns a sporty little bike, a 2002 Suzuki SV650. We went for a drive with him while we were there and took the bikes out on the highway I wanted to see just what my little 800 could do so I wound her out. I managed to hit 180kms/h about 110mph before I decided to back it off. You know I think if I lost a few pounds I might be able to hit the 200kms/h it's registered for. Murph's 750 Shadow topped out at 160 and Matt decided to slow down and let us catch up to him when he reached 200kms/h. What a great time.
While we were in New Minas Murph and I both fell in love with Matt's Hindle Exhaust and decided then and there that we needed to focus on getting more decibles from our bikes. I decided to remove my baffles and I was amazed at the difference. The pipes look and sound a lot better now. I used a drill and a dremel to get the baffles out and I elected to do the mod with the pipes still on the bike. Some people have sugested that removing the pipes is easier but personally I found it just as easy to leave them on. I've upload some before and after sound bites if anyone would like to have a listen before they do the mod themselves. I still haven't gotten around to getting any good pictures uploaded but I'm sure I'll be getting some soon enough. Oh and btw the Arlen Ness bars I advertised below are sold.
Here are the sound bites. With Baffles. And without Baffles.

Update Monday April 4th 2003. Not much to update here today. I've had the bike out and managed to run a tank of gas through it. Now the snow is back again though, so I'm gonna have to wait a few more days till there are drivable conditions again. I deleted the link to the "Poor Man's Hypercharger" since the website apears to be down. I'll mention this to the guy that wrote the faq and see if it's going to be back up. I've got my new Corbin seat installed and I'm loving it. The Küryakyn iso grips rock, they are very comfortable, in fact a friend of mine just bought a set after seeing mine. The bars I ordered, (Arlen Ness pullback drag bars), pull back a little too much for my taste however. I ran them on the bike for 200kms but I prefer to have to reach further forward. They look fantastic though and I really had a hard time trying to decide to keep them or not but I've come to the conclusion that they aren't the best for me. If anyone is interested in them send me an e-mail the address is at the bottom of the page and I'll let them go for $85.00 Cnd, $60.00 US + shipping. Check them out at Arlen Ness' website There part #08-006 under the Harley Handlebars section. I'm going to try to get some more pics of my bike over the next few weeks with the new seat on. I'm also planning on "Scooterizing" and gutting my stock pipes. Check back for more updates over the next couple of weeks.

Update Sunday March 16th 2003. Happy birthday to me, I turned 29 today. I was expecting some new gear to arrive last week but it hasn't shown up as of yet. A Corbin Gunfighter seat, Arlen Ness pull back drag bars, Vista Cruise, and a set of Küryakyn iso grips, should hopefully arrive tommorrow. I spent an hour or so today getting my bike ready to take the new bars and grips. I read a great walkthrough by Wolfman on installing the ISO grips and thought I'd post a link to it here. Wolfman's walkthrough. The weather is looking great for this up coming week temperatures are going to be getting up to 11c on Friday and there going to hover around 2-6c through out the rest of the week. I think it's gonna be time to do some riding. w00t!

Update Wednesday March 5th 2003. Well I finished my "Angled Licence Plate Mod" and I think it turned out pretty good. Haveing the plate mounted at this angle helps to maintain the flow of the bike. It's an easy mod, it doesn't cost anything, and I think it makes a big improvement to the look of the rear end of the bike. It will look even better once my new Corbin Gunfighter seat arrives in the mail next week, I'll try to get some more pictures of the bike then. For those of you that are interested I've written up a small guide to doing this plate mod, it can be found Here.

Update Thursday Feb 20th 2003. Since Christmas this year I've rebuilt my computer into almost an and entirely new rig. I'm now running a 2.4Ghz P4 Northwood with 512mb of DDR333 Ram and a Geforce 4 ti4200. This new rig is rockin'. I'll try to get some new pictures up onto the site in the near future. For now though I would also like to show off a little something I made. I call it a Lan-Bus. It's a Linksys hub re-wired and modded to fit into a 5 1/4 inch drive bay. I took a lot of time doing this mod but it turned out great. Check out the guide with pictures here.

I've also started having a much larger interest in Motorcycles lately. Although I've been riding since I was just a little fella I've never really gotten into the technical side of motorcycles. Now though I'm starting to take a much more serious look into customizing bikes. As you can tell from this website I love modding computers and I'm going to merge that love with my love of motorcycles. My new Vulcan 800 Classic I bought last year is just begging to be modified. Some new pipes, bars, turn signals, and grips are in my near future. I'm also toying with the idea of hypercharging or supercharging my new ride and getting a new saddle along with more chrome. I found a very valuable source in this area. The Vulcan Riders and Owners club is filled with people from around the world that share a common love...Motorcycles. As I find time I'm going to start adding motorcycle related information, links, and pictures to this website. For now here is a link to the VROC website, and here are a couple of pictures of my new ride. These are pictures of the bike in it's stock configuration with no cosmetic changes made yet. Pic1 , Pic2. Check back over time, I don't update very often but I do update.
