THE AMERICAN WHITE
SHEPHERD ASSOCIATION (AWSA)
AWSA is a sister club
to WSCC. The clubs members are a group of North American White German Shepherd
Dog fanciers who have come together in order to work for the complete separation
of the White Shepherd from the German Shepherd Dog, as well as for its
eventual recognition by AKC and CKC. AWSA is the United States parent club
for the breed.

THE UNITED KENNEL CLUB
(UKC)
The UKC has offered the
White Shepherd full breed status with their organization beginning January
1, 1999. They are requiring 350 whites to be registered with them at that
time. Full breed status would give White Shepherds the opportunity to have
their own breed ring, apart from the GSD, and give them the same, full
rights and advantages as other recognized breeds of dogs within UKC. All
whites currently registered as German Shepherd Dogs with the CKC, the AKC,
or the UKC are eligible to participate.

information and application forms from the United Kennel Club, please visit

THE WHITE GERMAN SHEPHERD
DOG CLUB INTERNATIONAL (WGSDCII?)
The purpose of this club
is to promote the white coated german shepherd dog, and preserve the name
and heritage as part of the German Shepherd Dog Breed. To educate the public,
and hopefully, some day, regain equal status - not as undesirable, but
as a color variation of the German Shepherd Dog.

about the WGSDCII please visit their home page at: http://www.aros.net/~wgsdcii/welcome.htm
