Adding CrossHairs


Adding additional crosshairs is done by adding a texture file (utx) to the UT texture directory and then a simple edit of the user.ini file found in the UT system directory.

Step one is to change the number in the line;
CrosshairCount=
The default is 9, legal values are 9-19 (keeping the default values) UT supports up to 20 crosshairs using 0-19 so the value will read 1 higher than your last entry

Step 2 is to add the additional lines depending on the number of crosshairs added
Default will read:

CrosshairCount=9
CrossHairs[0]=Botpack.CHair1
CrossHairs[1]=Botpack.CHair2
CrossHairs[2]=Botpack.CHair3
CrossHairs[3]=Botpack.CHair4
CrossHairs[4]=Botpack.CHair5
CrossHairs[5]=Botpack.CHair6
CrossHairs[6]=Botpack.CHair7
CrossHairs[7]=Botpack.CHair8
CrossHairs[8]=Botpack.CHair9

Adding my full pack

I found I wasn't using the default hairs at all and decided to replace them all works fine as well... my current file looks like this:

You can use as many extra packs as you want and choose individual files from each Like I was using mine and one static and one animated for the [EG]! pack so it looked like looks like this;
