Viewing Log #1, Pt. 2
With the updates, I've gotten rid of the past 4 viewing logs, taken the last viewing from #5 and put it on here. I can't remember all the movies I saw between August 25th and now, so I'm sorry, but you won't get blurbs for them. Clicking a movie's title will bring you to the IMDB page for it.
All blurbs are for first viewings only otherwise noted.

Team America: World Police - Parker, Stone - 10.something.04
Hilarious. Not quite as good as the South Park movie, but filled with plenty of memorable lines.
"Welcome to my limo. Now, suck my-"
Actually, I'll let you guess how that line finishes.

The Song Remains the Same - Cliffton, Massot - 08.25.05
In a word: awesome.
In many more words...
With concert footage combined from Led Zeppelin's three Madison Square Garden dates, ending their 1973 US tour, some weird-looking fantasy sequences and a bit of behind-the-scenes stuff, The Song Remains the Same was released three years after the concert to mixed critical reception. Now, being a Led Zep fan, I was looking forward to watching this, despite the fact it's not the most praised concert movie ever. But, it still kicked plenty of ass. It starts off terribly, with some out-of-place gang shootout, then a pretty bad rendition of Zeppelin IV's great track, 'Rock and Roll'. About halfway through the movie, I was thinkin I'd give it **.5, maybe *** in the end. Then they launched into 'Dazed and Confused'. And I was blown away. Page plays with a violin bow! His solo is at least 15 minutes long! Insanity, I tell you! Then Stairway to Heaven, which was great, but not their best, then came the big, bad drum solo: Moby Dick. I was really enjoying it, even though it's not that thrilling to watch a guy drum for 20 minutes, then I saw him ditch his stick. He started playing with his hands! Around then, I sat up and payed attention, and I could really see that John Bonham was/is the best drummer ever. The man was a genius. Then after that, they went into the title track from Zeppelin II, Whole Lotta Love, which was awesome. Near the end, the smoke bomb thingies went off, which I thought was pretty cool, then they set Bonham's gong on fire!
In conclusion to these incoherent ramblings, listening to Led Zeppelin is nothing compared to watching them. What I would've have given back then to see them live.
