Text: CAMPBELL, Katherine - 90, Dominion, died June 5, 1998, in New Waterford Consolidated Hospital. Born in Dominion, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (MacLeod) Campbell. She was a life member of Chalmers United Church, Dominion, and a member of the UCW. At one time, she owned and operated a confectionery store in Dominion. Surviving are brother, Roy, Dominion; sister, Ruth Fritze, Halifax; four nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by sister, Mildred; brother, John Hugh. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, funeral 2 p.m. Monday, both in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home and chapel, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay, Rev. Ralph Johnston officiating. Burial in Hardwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney. Donations to Chalmers United Church or any charity.

Text: Campbell, John Hugh - 79, 445 Mitchell Ave., Dominion, died Monday in Glace Bay Community Hospital. Born in Dominion, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mary (MacLeod) Campbell. He was an adherent of Chalmers United Church. A retired coal miner, he is survived by a brother Roy, Dominion; two sisters, Katherine Campbell, Dominion; Ruth Fritze, Halifax; several niephews; a niece. He was predeceased by a sister, Mildred McNeil. The body was cremated. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in V.J. McGillivray's Funeral Home Glace Bay, Rev. Lorna MaQueen officiating. Burial in Hardwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney.

He was predeceased by sisters, Mildred, Katherine (Katie); brother, John Hugh. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Monday, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home and chapel, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay, Rev. Ralph Johnston officiating. Burial to follow in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
