Text:   New Waterford - Charles MacDougall, 62, of 477 13th street died at the Halifax Infirmary, Tuesday, January 29, 1955. Born in New Waterford Mr. MacDougall was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John MacDougall. Mr. MacDougall was a retired coal miner. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish and belonged to Saint Anthony Danial Council 3209 Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Agnes Reid, sons, David, Sask., Gil at home, daughters (Mary) Mrs. Ronald Desveaux, Gail, New Waterford, and by brothers David and Angus residing in Ontario. Mr. MacDougall was predeceased by a brother Joseph and by sisters Tena, Margaret and Martha. The body rests at the V.J. MacGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street. Basil MacGillivray announced the funeral mass will be said Thursday at 10 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be made in the parish cemetery. Members of the KOC are requested to assemble at the funeral home this evening at 7:30 p.m. to offer prayers. Contributions to the Nova Scotia Lung Association are suggested as memorials.

Text:   Dominion - Mrs. Mary Campbell, 85 passed away at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. O. F. Fritze, Wolfville. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Mira.
Burial took place in the family plot in Hardwood Hill, Sydney.
