Text: New Waterford - March 18. The death occured Monday evening of Mrs. Joseph Kraulichek, Union Highway, 68, a native of Czechoslovakia, The deceased was resident of New Waterford for the past 32 years.and news of her passing will be received with regret by a large circle of friends. She is survived by her husband, two daughters and one son. They are Mrs Albert Podgurski, Mrs Angus Matlock and Emil, all of New Waterford. Survivng also is one sister, Mrs Annie Orlick, Springhill, who arrived here previous to her sister's passing. Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Dunlop and Dunlop Funeral Homes and interment will take place at St. Michael's Cememtery.

Text: Horyl, Frank - passed away April 27, 2002, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. He was the son of the late Stephen and Marie (Cvanda) Horyl. Frank was a veteran of the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, Sophia (Adams) ; daughters Joan Dalton, Hamilton, Ont.; Colleen Parsons, Waterloo, Ont.; Sons, Frank, Joseph, both of New Waterford; grandchildren, Heather, Carolann, Ashley, Christina; sister, Mary MacPhee. He was predeceased by sister, Stella; brothers, Joseph and Stephen. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. New Waterford - Joseph Horyl, 74, 16 Union Highway, River Ryan, died Friday in New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
Born in Czeckoslovakia, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Horyl.
He was a member of St. Michael's church. He was a retired sales manager and owner of Superior Sausage Company.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Roach; a brother, Frank, River Ryan; two sisters, Stella (Mrs. Joe Nugent) and Mary (Mrs. Terrance MacPhee), both of River Ryan.
He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Pricilla; a brother Stephen; a sister, Mary.
The body is in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today in St. Michael's Church, Father Frank Gaul officiating. Burial will be in the chruch Cemetery.

New Waterford, May 21 - Death of Carol Ann Nugent, two and one-half old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nugent, Union highway, occurred at her home this morning. She is survived by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Brothers are Joseph, Francis and Peter, sister is Patricia.
Funeral will take place on Friday morning leaving the residence at 8 a.m. burial in St. Michael's cemetery. Funeral under the direction of McGillivray and Dunlop Funeral Homes.

Walter J. Wojick, 67, of 8 Jamieson Street, died Friday in St. Rita Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Walenty and Mary (Trojan) Wojick.
He was employed as a crane operator in the Plants Open Hearth
Department and retired in 1977 after 42 years service.
He was a member of St. Mary's Polish Church, Church Choir and St.
Michael's Benefit Society.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marguarite Lawrence, one son,
Walter B., Sydney and three daughters, Mrs Sheldon Brown (June), Glace
Bay; Mrs Fred Hawthorne (Janet), and Mrs Fred Cooke (Evelyn), Sydney;
A sister, Mrs. Helen Tynski of Sydney and 10 Grandchildren.
Two bothers, Joseph and Frank, and a sister, Mary, predeceased him.
The body will reset at the T.W. Curry Funeral Home this evening at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be held Monday with mass in St. Mary's Polish Church
at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
