Dora and Bill Jonah have restored this beautiful 100 year old sea captain's home which was fashioned after a home on Beacon Hill in Boston. They are located in West Jeddore Village, an active fishing village on picturesque Jeddore Harbour. For total relaxation and solitude take an evening stroll along their private beach and watch the fishing boats arriving and departing. Or enjoy a day of bird watching, fishing, or just exploring the local folk art galleries and antique stores. Jonah By the Sea is close to many popular beaches, provincial parks, trails, two golf courses, restaurants, the Musquodoboit Harbour Railway Museum, the Fisherman's Life Museum. It is only 50 minutes from Halifax and 55 minutes from Halifax airport. A sumptuous homemade breakfast is served in the dining room from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Visit OUR ROOMS for our rates.
