Robert was born on September 27,1890 in Malden, USA. He died in November, 1953 in Holbrook, Mass. He was married to Hildred “Hilda” Arenburg (bJan 17,1895). They had five children: Thelma, Robert, Sylvia, June and Roland. June died at 5 years old from a ruptured appendix and Roland died at about 6 weeks old.

 

The family was living in Halifax at the time of the Halifax Explosion in 1917. Robert lost a finger and Thelma lost an eye.

 

At some point the family moved to Massachusetts where their descendents currently live.
