Paul Robicheau knows about "going the extra mile." For him,
it is a state of mind, a personal bearing of character and
dauntless conviction. It's all about intensity and limitless
opportunity.
Paul has had an affinity for construction and architecture
since his early childhood. Within a family of construction
professionals, his father was a carpenter and draftsman and
his uncles were contractors and plasterers, Paul grew up
immersed by a philosophy of diligence and pride of
craftsmanship. Following in his father's foot steps, Paul
earned a Diploma of Building Technology from the the Nova
Scotia Community College, I.W. Akerley Campus. As an
accredited draftsman, he spend a few years drawing house
plans and then designing kitchens for both, individuals and
contractors. After a time, Paul returned to his education by
attending Saint Mary's University. Pursuing another of his
interests, Classic art and ancient architecture.
Particularly Greek and Egyptian. All of this combines to aid
his discerning eye when looking at the potential of
converting a house into a home.
Paul has learned much in the way of personal awareness,
leadership and communicative skills, through his competing
and coaching in the sports and boxing and kickboxing. These
two pursuits forced him to push himself to his utmost
limits, mentally and physically. Forced him to work harder,
to do that extra round , to run that extra mile. As a coach,
Paul has worked with many fine athletes over the past
decade. One of the high points of his coaching career was
leading a young female boxer to back to back provincial
championships.
These days Paul remains active by hiking with his two
favorite pals, Odin (Border Collie) and Thor (Australian
Shepherd). These two dogs have lots of energy and love truly
long treks through the back trails of Nova Scotia. Paul has
hiked trails in Cape Breton, Antigonish County, Annaplois
Valley and, of course, the Halifax Regional Municipality.
February 2004, Paul received a CENTURY 21 Classic TEAM AWARD
from his peers. He is very proud of this recognition because
it emphasizes his desire and willingness to help people. Clients and colleagues alike.
