This is a collection of photographs of some of the miniatures I have painted. I usually play Space Marine (Epic40k 2nd Edition) and Battlefleet Gothic although these miniatures are often used for my own 1/300 scale miniature wargame Zorch I am in the process of repainting many of my Epic miniatures in anticipation of the new Epic Armageddon version which I am currently playtesting.
Like most people who have played Epic I have more marines than sense (due to the large number that come with the boxed set). These are just two examples of some new company colours that I'm trying out

My favourite army to play are the Imperial Guard. I foolishly missed out on buying more Main Battle Tanks, so I'm a little short of armour, save my Shadowswords. As I'm currently in the middle of a repaint, this is just a sample.

Until the Tau came along, the Eldar had the most appealing miniatures. I especially like the old Tempests and Titans.

Some early samples of the Forgeworld Tau miniatures. Simply some shots of a crisis suit and a size comparison of the Tigershark (a very large flyer, though not quite up to the astonishing size of the Manta). Painting for the crisis suit was done using an black undercoat, with successive layers of blue and white. The green "eye" or sensor is my first use of flourescent acrylics.

I thought battlefleet gothic was one of GW's most playable games. Fast and easy to learn with enough detail and variety to make engagements interesting. I normally play Imperial, but also enjoy playing Chaos and Eldar. IMHO the most interesting formation to play with is a squadron of three Dauntless class light cruisers, thier manouverability speed and combined 9 (thats right 9) lance shots can really ruin someones day.
