Class 45

The class 45s (and 44's and 46's) or 'Peaks' as they were known were quite often seen at Cardiff working long distance cross country services. Like the class 40's these were huge beasts with a 1-Co-Co-1 wheel arrangement and I often wondered how they made it over Cardiff's complex station throat without derailing.
