Birmingham New Street
Unlike many stations that are open, or have high vaulted overall roofs, Birmingham New St was a really dark and dingy affair. Very busy with lots of good traffic but I could never get used to the oppressive air and the sense that the station was being "squashed" by the shopping centre that sits atop it.
