2014 Camp Information

Due to unforeseen circumstances ALYC has been forced to suspend its LTS program for 2014. It is our hope that with continued fundraising and increased volunteer commitment we will be able to resume operations in 2015. We thank those that have supported us in the past and regret any inconvenience this late announcement may have caused. Any parent or individual interested in aiding our efforts, please do not hesitate to contact LTS Co-ordinator Lisa Miller at

Our camp adventures include fun in the sun activities that promote spirit and camaraderie. Participants will learn the importance of water safety and working together according to Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) standards in one or two week long day camp format.  Safety, boat handling, theory and sportsmanship will be emphasized.

Sailors can participate in one or two weeks of a program; length of time to achieve skills and certification levels varies upon sailors.

Although there are no written tests, certain skills must be completed before sailors can be CYA certified.

Registration Deadline; To be announced.    Please make cheques payable to Aylesford Lake Yacht Club
