Robert (Bob) Cock, founder of Bc High-Tech Automotive Training, is an interprovincial licensed technician as well as an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) member in the automotive repair industry. His is also a three year member of the North American Council of Automotive Technicians (NACAT). He holds a number of upgrading certificates including the Federal Test Procedures Certificate (FTP) from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Bob is responsible for the operations and organization of Bc High-Tech Automotive Training, and has been the primary force in the design and delivery of every course offered since the company was established. He was also responsible for negotiating the level of government and industry support which Bc High-Tech Automotive Training currently receives. Bob has used his significant experience in automotive training to select the finest equipment available and recruit some of the best instructors in Canada to support his new training facility. Bob was also instrumental in the research and development of the Nova Scotia "Training for Employment" program. After several months development time, the program has received official industry support and approval. The industry knows the training being provided by Bc High-Tech Automotive Training is needed and has agreed to provide opportunities for these people after completion of the 47 day training program. The courses offered through Bc High-Tech Automotive Training are delivered by professional, well trained instructors who are very informed in the automotive industry. |
